SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping policy

Shipping is governed by Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale, reproduced here. Online orders ship to addresses in the United States; for delivery outside the United States, please request a quote.

4.1 Shipping terms. Unless the quote states otherwise, domestic shipments are FOB Origin (AMP Tech's facility) and international shipments are FCA AMP Tech's facility (Incoterms 2020). Risk of loss passes to Buyer when the Products are handed to the carrier, whether AMP Tech or Buyer arranges freight. Delivery dates are estimates; AMP Tech is not liable for carrier delays.

4.2 Freight and insurance. Freight, crating, and palletizing are billed to Buyer. AMP Tech will insure shipments at Buyer's expense when Buyer requests it in writing before shipment. Buyer is responsible for inside delivery, liftgate, rigging, and access at the delivery site.

4.3 Shipping damage. Buyer must inspect the exterior of every shipment on arrival, including crating and any shock or tilt indicators, without opening crating for Products AMP Tech will install (Section 6.3), note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt, photograph it, and notify AMP Tech within two (2) business days. Concealed damage must be reported within five (5) business days of delivery or, for Products AMP Tech installs, upon unpacking by AMP Tech. Buyer must keep all crating and packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims not reported within these periods may be denied by the carrier and are Buyer's responsibility.

4.4 Nonconformity and shortages. For Products not installed by AMP Tech, Buyer must notify AMP Tech in writing within ten (10) days after delivery of any shortage or nonconformity with the quote (wrong model, missing module, or failure to power on and initialize). Failure to give that notice waives Buyer's rights of inspection and rejection, and Buyer must pay the contract price as if the Products conformed. For Products installed by AMP Tech, Section 6.4 governs. Neither period reduces the Limited Warranty in Section 8.

4.5 Acceptance. "Acceptance" occurs: (a) for Products installed by AMP Tech, on the date of the Installation Completion Notice, or on the date set by Section 6.5 if Buyer delays installation; and (b) for all other Products, on the delivery date shown in carrier tracking. Acceptance starts the warranty period, regardless of when Buyer first operates the Products.
