✅This is an Amp Tech certified, fully operational Agilent GCMS System. We performed all operational qualifications and all results fell within acceptance criteria.

This Agilent 7890 GC System was recently acquired by our team in excellent working condition. The previous owner had clearly maintained it well, and it was operational upon arrival. Once it reached our Central Florida facility, our team inspected and tested the system thoroughly. This unit was then carefully refurbished using only OEM Agilent parts to ensure it meets the highest standards. Following refurbishment, it underwent rigorous OP/OQ testing in our on-site certification lab. Now AMPTIUS Certified, this system is ready to ship, backed by our warranty.

The Agilent 7890 GC is a powerhouse for gas chromatography, offering high precision, reliability, and customizable features. Paired with the 7693 autosampler, it enables efficient sample handling, while the LTM (Low Thermal Mass) module enhances temperature control for faster analysis. Whether you’re running complex environmental studies, food safety tests, or petrochemical analyses, this system is versatile enough to handle your most demanding workflows.

With its robust design and modern capabilities, the Agilent 7890 GC System is a trusted choice for labs seeking accuracy and efficiency. This AMPTIUS Certified system combines value and performance, making it a great investment for expanding or upgrading your lab’s analytical capabilities.

Agilent Technologies is a global leader in life sciences, diagnostics, and applied chemical markets, renowned for its cutting-edge instruments and solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, Agilent has been empowering researchers and laboratories worldwide for decades.

Price and cost of ownership of Agilent 7890 GC System w/ 7693 Autosampler, LTM + Software

The Agilent 7890 GC System with 7693 Autosampler, Low Thermal Mass (LTM) technology, and software is a highly advanced gas chromatography platform tailored for laboratories that require fast analysis, high precision, and automation. While a new system costs around $112,000, a refurbished unit is available for approximately $35,000, offering over 65% savings without sacrificing core performance. The inclusion of LTM technology drastically reduces run times by enabling rapid heating and cooling of GC columns, which increases sample throughput and improves lab efficiency. Paired with the 7693 Autosampler, the system automates injection sequences with precision and speed, minimizing variability and manual handling. In addition to the purchase price, ownership costs include consumables like columns, septa, and syringes, as well as carrier gases and periodic maintenance. Software licensing and compliance validation may be required for labs operating in regulated sectors. Choosing a certified refurbished 7890 GC with LTM and Autosampler provides a cost-effective pathway to high-end GC capabilities, particularly for budget-conscious labs that still demand quality, reliability, and strong analytical performance.

Agilent 7890 GC with LTM Technology – Flexible Detection for Environmental and Food Testing

The Agilent 7890 GC System with 7693 Autosampler and LTM technology is highly compatible with a wide range of detectors, making it a versatile tool for diverse analytical applications. It can be configured with detectors such as flame ionization detectors (FID), thermal conductivity detectors (TCD), electron capture detectors (ECD), nitrogen-phosphorus detectors (NPD), and mass spectrometers (MS). This flexibility allows the system to adapt to specific testing needs, from routine hydrocarbon analysis using FID to trace-level pesticide detection with ECD or structural compound identification with MS. The LTM module enhances each configuration by enabling faster temperature ramping and improved thermal control, resulting in sharper peaks and shorter run times. Whether used in environmental, food safety, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical testing, the 7890 GC with LTM supports high-throughput workflows without compromising compatibility or performance across different detector types. The Agilent 7890 GC System with 7693 Autosampler and LTM technology is compatible with a wide range of validated analytical methods across multiple industries. It supports AOAC Official Methods for food safety testing, particularly for analyzing pesticide residues and food additives when paired with detectors like ECD or FID. EPA Method 551.1 and EPA Method 521 benefit from configurations using ECD and NPD, enabling sensitive detection of haloacetic acids and nitrosamines in drinking water. ASTM D1945, used for compositional analysis of natural gas, is well-supported when the system is equipped with a TCD. For complex environmental samples, EPA Method 8270D leverages the GC’s compatibility with mass spectrometry to quantify a broad range of semi-volatile organic compounds. The system’s modular design and rapid heating with LTM make it a reliable platform for high-throughput, regulatory-compliant testing across these applications.
