Flow Cytometers
Flow cytometers use a laser-based technology to count and sort cells, detect biomarkers and proteins by suspending cells in a stream of fluid and passing them by a detection system. Flow cytometry is used in research and clinical laboratories for many applications including chromosome analysis, cancer diagnosis, protein expression, DNA and RNA quantification, multidrug resistance, and measuring enzyme activity. A system includes software, which should be user-friendly for flow cytometry novices, and advanced for experienced users to perform sophisticated experimental setups and analyses.
